Contrast Therapy works by exerting a physiological effect on the body’s pain gate mechanism. Another term for this is Hormetic stress, this is a good type of stress. It’s when you push your body and it responds by becoming more resilient.
In this session I will expose you to opposing temperatures. You will go from the heat of the infrared sauna and to the cold of the ice bath. This will put your body into a hormetic state.
I will prepare you for this experience with specific breath work techniques, that will enable you to embrace the challenge, connect with your primal roots and bypass your fears.

This session lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes, and is run on a 1:1 basis or for groups of up to 4 people.
You will need to bring your own swimwear and towel, along with layers to bundle up in post session if needed.
